The Project Team and the Vendor are finalising the build of Astria and it is expected to have the Astria functionality for the Tasmania Prisons Service and Community Corrections completed in April 2024.
The final user acceptance testing round will be in May 2024 to test all the functionality and to make sure Astria is ready to use.
Comprehensive training for the 500+ users will follow in June and July and it is expected to go-live with Release 2 at the end of July 2024. The hyper care period will see a heightened level of support from the vendor and the Project Team available to all users post Go-live. Continued support will be provided by a dedicated support team in the Department of Justice.
The Project Team has a high level of confidence in this timeline and will continue to provide regular updates and information to future users.
